"That is so fetch!" + Spring 2012 Campaigns

If you are unfamiliar with Mean Girls — where have you been, stuck under the seashell Florence Welch performed in during Chanel Spring 2012 show since 2000? — you should go and reconsider the meaning of life. And watch Mean Girls immediately. For those who do, however, you would know that Greatchen keeps "trying to make 'fetch' happen." I don't give a holyfuck what Regina thinks, but "fetch" is going to happen. I'm going to make it happen. I can feel it in my bones, "fetch" is going to happen. In the meanwhile, please enjoy these Spring 2012 campaigns that I captioned(inspired by Fashionista.com) and imagined it all in Gretchen Weiners's voice. Remember, "fetch" is still going to happen.

↓ More underneath the jump, silly ↓

Louis Vuitton — "We're not really eating that, are we?"

Balenciaga — "They told me that unless I stop coming home drunk, they will take away all my clothes. So I ate my hat."

Mulberry — "I don't know about you, Frida, but why are we always standing next to dairy lately?"

Chanel — "If it wasn't for Karl, I would probably kick someone in the arse."

Reed Krakoff — "I sure hope mustard yellow is not the new 'it' colour — I look like... mustard. Egh, so not fetch."

Marc Jacobs — "Move over, Gisele. A new kind of sexy is in town and no, it's not bikinis."

  1. HA! That's so funny. I was getting my nails done last night and they were playing Mean Girls. I miss Ana Gasteyer.

  2. How can any self-respecting teenage girl NOT know Mean Girls? I've probably said this before but I don't really understand why it is Tavi Gevinson and not you getting front-row NYFW tix & get to start a quirky, feminine online magazine. I love her blog and everything, but I think you're better. Seriously. I'm 14 too and you make me depressed in a good way (as in: how come I've wasted the past 14 years doing nothing more than sipping Cherry Coke while you were probably examining the effects of Riot Grrrl on society today. Fuck.)
